These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Toujours Taxi's services and website at toujourstaxi.com. By booking a ride or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Toujours Taxi provides taxi transportation services in Beirut and Lebanon. We operate through a dispatch system whereby customers submit ride requests online or by phone, and our operators assign licensed drivers to fulfil those requests.

Our service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, subject to driver availability. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

2. Bookings

A booking is confirmed when you receive a WhatsApp message confirming your driver's details and estimated arrival time. Until that confirmation is sent, your booking is pending.

• You must provide a valid WhatsApp phone number to receive your confirmation
• You must provide an accurate pickup address — we are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses
• You must be present at the pickup address at the agreed time
• You must be at least 18 years old to book, or be accompanied by an adult

For scheduled rides, we recommend booking at least 1 hour in advance. We cannot guarantee exact arrival times due to traffic conditions in Beirut.

3. Fares and Payment

All fares are calculated based on a base fare plus a per-kilometre rate as displayed at the time of booking. The fare shown is an estimate; the final fare may vary if the actual route differs significantly.

Payment is made directly to the driver at the end of the ride in cash. The fare quoted at booking is the fare you pay. Drivers are not permitted to charge more than the quoted fare without your agreement.

Additional charges may apply for waiting time beyond 5 minutes at pickup, significant route changes requested during the ride, or damage caused to the vehicle by the passenger.

4. Cancellations and No-Shows

You may cancel a booking at any time before your driver arrives by contacting us via WhatsApp or phone. If a driver arrives and you are not present or do not respond within a reasonable time, this constitutes a no-show. Repeated no-shows may result in suspension of your booking access.

We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our control, including severe weather, road closures, or driver unavailability. We will notify you as soon as possible in such cases.

5. Passenger Conduct

Passengers must behave respectfully toward drivers and comply with Lebanese road safety laws including wearing seatbelts where fitted. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Abusive, threatening or violent behaviour toward drivers
• Smoking in the vehicle
• Consumption of alcohol or illegal substances in the vehicle
• Carrying illegal items
• Soiling or damaging the vehicle

Drivers have the right to refuse or terminate a ride if a passenger's behaviour compromises safety. Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle during the ride.

6. Liability and Limitations

Toujours Taxi operates as a transport service and our drivers carry appropriate vehicle insurance as required by Lebanese law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Toujours Taxi's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the fare paid for the ride in question. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle, delays caused by inaccurate address information, or indirect or consequential losses of any kind.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

7. Your Personal Data

By booking a ride, you consent to us processing your personal data for the purpose of fulfilling your booking and sending you ride confirmations via WhatsApp. We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Disputes

If you have a complaint, please contact us at info@toujourstaxi.com or by phone. We aim to resolve all complaints within 5 business days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Beirut, Lebanon.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
